DOCTOR WHO MODEL PHOTOSHOOT
This collection of photos feature a 1:8 scale Comet Miniatures Kit-constructed Dalek and a 1:8 scale scratch-built Tardis. They were phototgraphed at Ynyslas, (Streetmap,BBC Mid-Wales) (which is a fair trek without a car!) November 2007. Out of season it is very quiet.
This photoshoot gave me a chance to try out a new digital camera, and also provided a beautiful backdrop to the models. It was also a fun change to try some "real" models (as opposed to CGI ones). Sadly I didn't have too much time - only about half an hour or so before I had to get the bus back but I had good luck with the light, and indeed the weather considering what the Welsh coast is usually like mid-November!
